How to Join Us
If you already hold a firearms certificate then you can join the club at the discretion of the club committee, however you will still have to take and pass our Probationary Members Training Course.
If you do not have a firearms certificate you will have to join as a probationary member and attend on a regular basis (for a minimum period of 3 months) to qualify for consideration for full membership by our club’s committee. You will also have to take and pass our Probationary Members Training Course.
Our Probationary Members Training Course is run approximately every 3 months.
As a new member you will need to demonstrate a genuine interest in target shooting as well as the ability to shoot accurately and we will provide instruction in the safe use of firearms and techniques to help improve your own shooting skills.
The club has a number of rifles for probationary members to use until they gain their full membership, which will then allow them to apply for a Firearms Certificate and consider purchasing their own equipment.
If you're interested in visiting and joining our club, please complete the 'Contact Information' form details below and we will contact you to discuss arrangements for an induction visit, in line with any ongoing Covid 19 restrictions and after completion of your application form.
Visiting the Club premises without an appointment is not permitted and must only be done by prior appointment through the Club Secretary.
